MAAUN Niger Congratulates MAAUN Kano Ahead of Inauguration
AREWA AGENDA – The management of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) Maradi, Niger Republic has congratulated its counterpart institution in Nigeria located in Kano ahead of its inauguration coming soon.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement signed by the President and Founder of the MAAUN conglomerate, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo while fielding questions from journalists in Kano.
It should be recalled that MAAUN in Niger was established in Maradi in the year 2013 after fulfilling all the requirements and standard University operational guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Niger Republic as well as the National University Commission guidelines in Nigeria.

Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, a staunch advocate and supporter of education has successfully founded another giant University in Kano as part of his commitment and believe that all children should have equal educational access, regardless of their economic class and upbringing.
Professor Gwarzo has discovered that getting a tertiary education is intrinsically linked to the pursuit and acquisition of knowledge, as well as innovation and new scientific breakthroughs.
The establishment of MAAUN Nigeria is an important milestone of Gwarzo’s resolve and unflinching commitment to tackle the menace of illiteracy and poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Professor Gwarzo noted that, “Glory be to Allah for making MAAUN Nigeria a reality. I will continue to promote education in my state, country and the African continent at large. At MAAUN, we pay close attention to every student, for enhancing innovative and intellectual potential of each member of our team” he concluded.
