Lawmaker Charges Electorate to Revalidate PVC’s

AREWA AGENDA – The member representing the Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullah Mahmud Gaya and also a Candidate for the seat in the forthcoming 2023 General Election has called on all eligible voters in the constituency and state to come out in mass and revalidate their PVC’s before time runs out.

The lawmaker’s statement is contained in a press release issued and signed on his behalf by his legislative aide, Bashir Abba Gaya to newsmen in Kano

According to him without Permanent Voters Card electorates cannot vote, so PVC is the only electorates weapon to consolidate the emerging positive development recorded in the Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi federal constituency, state and the nation at large.

He added that these tasks can only be achieved when electorates come out in mass to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Hon Abdullah Mahmud Gaya noted that the role of the citizens in the political emancipation of Nigeria could not be over-emphasized, while urging elected officials, appointees and other stakeholders to expedite action in enlightening people from the grassroots about the importance of revalidating their PVCs.
