Ganduje Campaigns for His Son on Dawakin Tofa Reps
AREWA AGENDA – As INEC declared open, the campaign season for 2023, Gov. Ganduje rolled out a campaign for his beloved son Engr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje popularly known as Abba Danlele.
The governor had stopped joining national politics after Tunibu’s team abandoned him out of national politics.
Abba Ganduje is billed to take over from Hon. Jobe, a senior ranking member and powerful politician currently serving the Dawakin Tofa, Rimingado and Tofa Federal constituency.
Political analysts believed that Ganduje’s son was vehemently rejected by the constituents due to his father’s nepotism to place his children in various political positions after his tenure.

It was reliably gathered that his first daughter Dr Amina Ganduje is billed to be the next commissioner of health and his last born Muhammad Ganduje who currently serves his mandatory NYSC is targeted to be placed as chairman of Ganduje’s home town, Dawakin Tofa LG if APC retained the mantle of leadership in Kano by 2023.
In a video clip, Gov. Ganduje was sighted addressing a gathering in the constituency, where he was explaining the qualities of his son despite being a new politician.
It could be recalled that the incumbent Hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe parted ways with Kano state Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje two years ago after discovering the governor’s plan to anoint his son in the forthcoming election.
Hon. Jobe decamped to the opposition NNPP where he got another ticket to contest his position for the fifth time making him a much stronger candidate than all the other candidates within the constituency.
