Flooding: PWDs Seek Urgent Support
AREWA AGENDA – The Presidential aspirant of the Nigerian Association of the Blind NAB, Barr. Sunny Ezurike has called on Governments, philanthropists and relevant stakeholders to support victims of flood disasters In the country particular people living with Disabilities.
In a statement issued by The North -West Zonal Co-ordinator aspirant, Malam Abdulrazaq Ado Zango on Monday says that people living with disabilities are more affected by the current flooding in the country.

According to the statement,
“I have been inundated with calls and text messages from many of our brothers and sisters who are displaced by the flood which
is very unfortunate that I can only do very little to assist given the enormity of those seeking help”
Ezurike added that Most of PWDs do not have food to eat, or access to health facilities, which is a major challenge in these trying times.
“We are calling on the government, philanthropists, NGOs, and individuals to support us in any way they can in order to alleviate our pain, he said.
