He said it was part of the foundation’s effort to promote an innovative approach to high impacts initiatives in the Integrated and SMART approaches to reach more poor and vulnerable populations with development support.

“These major beneficiaries include poor people, orphanage centers, internally displaced camps and vulnerable people in both urban and rural areas in Nigeria and Niger Republic.

“This annual activity involves ensuring the right needy are identified and received the support directly for accountability and transparency as part of the foundation’s core values”. Sufi added.

Malam Ibrahim Rijiyar Lemo one of the beneficiaries in Kano lamented that “Honestly, I gave up on receiving any support until my door was knocked and rice, meet and money was given to me from this unique organization. My family and I will never stop praying for Prof. Adamu Gwarzo for the kindness and heartful of humanity. God bless him, Amin”.

In Katsina Malama Nabihat Lawai on behalf of the beneficiaries at the Internally Displaced Camps expressed a high level of happiness and appreciation to the initiatives. “We are shocked to receive this huge number of gifts that is unexpected, now our children can know it is Sallah as everyone has already loose hope for support. Alhamdulillah, we are much grateful to the person who remembered us and we hope others will learn from him.” She said while shedding tears.

“I am so grateful to almighty Allah and to him (Prof. Adamu Gwarzo) for this philanthropic gesture to me and my family during this Sallah, we thought we are forgotten. This wheelchair means so much to me, I believed it will help me to have access to my education and other use. May Allah continue to support and bless the founder”. Khadija narrated while crying.

Malam Ibrahim Malami, a beggar at the Magama border who received the items and money appreciated the Founder and Chairman of the foundation Prof Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and pray for God to bless him, forgive his late father and more health and happiness to the loving mother.

“May almighty Allah bless him, forgive his late father and makes his mother live healthier and happier. He is an angel, words cannot express how I am feeling today and this already changes my perception about humanity that real helpers still exist”.

In Maradi Niger Republic, one of the beneficiaries Abdourrasheed Mahmouda revealed that “every Eid, Prof Gwarzo Foundation remember many people who cannot afford Sallah meat and bless them with a cow for the Sallah Celebration. We thank God for having such support and more”

Hajiya Husseina Umaru requested her message to be sent to the founder and Chairman as she said “May almighty Allah reward you and your family. You mean a lot to us. Without you, this Sallah could be so dark especially our children who might not forgive us. Thanks so much”. She shared this with Prof Gwarzo.

At the ONG Taimakon Marayu Orphanage in Maradi Niger Republic, Sheik Muhammad who received the Sallah gifts and slaughter them on behalf of the students, appreciated the gesture and commended Professor Gwarzo for always remembering the orphans in his support for many years.
