Yusuf Maitama Sule Appoints New VC
AREWA AGENDA – The Governing Council of Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano has approved the appointment of Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa as the new Vice Chancellor of the University.
This is in a statement signed by Governing Council Chairman/Pro Chancellor of the University, Prof. Muhammad Yahuza Bello FNMS, FPIN on Friday.

The appointment is for a period of five (5) years, and takes effect immediately from Friday 16th October, 2020.
Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa was a former Dean, Faculty of Science, Bayero University, Kano and Rector, Kano State Polytechnic.
