Saddiq Kaita to be turbaned as Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta by Katsina Emirate
AREWA AGENDA – Engineer Saddiq Kaita has been conferred with the traditional title of Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tutat by the Emir of Katsina, His Highness, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.
The turbaning ceremony will be held on Saturday 29th April at the Katsina Emir’s Palace.
Saddiq Musa Kaita is the grandson of the late Sarkin Fada Damale Kaita, SOLACEBASE reported.
In the letter of appointment, the Emir said the new Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tutan Katsina, a public servant has achieved a lot in his chosen career and is expected will bring a lot of impact on humanity in one way or the other.

A polo match will be organised in his honour at the Katsina polo ground on Friday and also a traditional durbar ceremony is expected to follow shortly after the turbaning ceremony.
The new Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta which is the first of its kind in Katsina Emirate holds Bachelor Degree in Electrical engineering (B.eng) from Bayero University (BUK) Kano and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna.
Saddiq is a fellow of the Chartered institute of project management of Nigeria, Member Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE),Member Council for Regulation of Engineering (MCOREN) and a project management professional (PMP)Certification (PMI-USA).
