“I wish to seize this opportunity to congratulate you on this feat. However, I would like to draw your attention in using the skills properly and professionally in promoting the activities of the government.” Fulani said.

While highlighting the concept of the training, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Fast Flip Media and SPARKLAB- the consultancy companies, Ramadan Yusuf, stated that, the topics for the training were chosen carefully as they relate and align directly with the mandates of the SR and SSR in the cause of discharging their responsibilities.

“I am very sure these modules will properly address the challenges and difficulties usually faced by reporters in promoting the activities of the government especially at this era of digitization.“I enjoin them to pay proper attention so as not to undermine the objectives of the training.” Mr. Yusuf added.

He added that the reporters were trained on how to source, gather and write good reports, manage communication during political crisis, fact-check news and manipulation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in writing reports.

On their part, the participants commended Gov Yusuf for the confidence repose on them and promised to utilize the skills in promoting the activities and image of the government.
