The Kano state government has ordered the state commissioner of Police to lift the 24 hours curfew imposed yesterday.
The state commissioner of information Baba Halilu Dantiye disclosed this while while addressing journalists.

Dantiye said the development was based on the peaceful atmosphere observed in the state and for residents to go about their normal activities.
The commissioner appealed to the people to maintain peace and collaborate with the security agencies to ensure peaceful coexistence.
