JUST IN: Lawan out, Tinubu, Osinbajo, Amaechi, Others Make 5-man Consensus Shortlist
AREWA AGENDA – Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have submitted the names of five presidential aspirants to President Muhammadu Buhari to select a consensus candidate for the party.

The names submitted are those of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Governor Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti State); Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation; and Governor Dave Umahi (Ebonyi State).
The name of Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, was conspicuously missing from the list.
POLITICS DIGEST learnt from a credible source in the Villa that the President is yet to announce his choice at the time of filing this report.
An authoritative source in the APC however told our correspondent that if the President fails to communicate, the delegates will then decide who becomes the APC 2023 presidential candidate.
