Tinubu Sworn-In As 5th President Federal Republic of Nigeria in Fourth Republic 

 

AREWA AGENDA – Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been sworn-in as the 5th President, Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) since the return of Democracy in 1999.

Tinubu took an oath of office at the 2023 Presidential Inauguration, Eagle Square in Abuja.

Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola, sworn-in the president elect in the presence of the outgoing president Muhammadu Buhari and other African and world leaders present.

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was the first President during the return of Civilian administration in 1999, succeeded by Umaru Musa Yaradua who died during his reign. Good luck Ebele Jonathan served between the year of 2010 to 2015, and he was succeeded by the outgoing administration of Muhammadu Buhari.
