A’Court Verdict: Massive Protest Rocks Over Kano Gov. Abba Sack
Kano state was on Wednesday rocked with a wave of protests over the appeal court verdict that affirmed the earlier judgement of tribunal, which declared the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Nasiru Gawuna as the rightful winner of governorship election held in the state in March earlier this year.

The demonstrations saw angry residents block roads and set bonfires in a clear display of their disapproval of the court’s ruling.
Recall that POLITICS DIGEST reported that the Appeal Court sacked Yusuf on the premise that he was not a member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) during the last governorship election in the state.
The court declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nasiru Gawuna, winner of the governorship election.
However, there was confusion over the judgment as the court asked concerned lawyers to return certified true copies of its judgment for corrections.
