None of Kaura Goje Students Pass Qualifying Examination in Kano State
AREWA AGENDA – All the candidates who sat for the qualifying examination in Government Senior Secondary School Kaura Goje failed to secure the government sponsorship for the forthcoming final Senior Secondary School Examination (WAEC/NECO) in this year.
AREWA AGENDA reporter learnt that out of 64 students who sat for the qualifying examination and failed, only 30 students were able to sponsored themselves as of the time of making this report.
According to Examination Officer of the School, Malam Sanusi said, the students are discouraged due to the outcomes of the examination despite many got almost 7 credits with mass failure in Mathematics subject which is among the prerequisite subject to score before government sponsor candidate to sit for Senior Secondary School final examination.

He added that the school was known with positive record of passing the examination but this year the record had broken due to additional criteria of 7 credits including Mathematics and English as prerequisites subjects to pass.
One of the resident of Kaura Goje in Nassarawa Local Government area decried that the location is left behind in Western Education and this massive failure will make many parents and the inhabitants of the place to be discourage about the education of their children more especially in this time of economic hardship and shortest period of NECO Registration dateline.
While our reporter interacting with the Examination Officer, one of the Student’s Father came with his request; if the school authority can register his child based on agreement, he pledged to reimburse the money back whenever he get it as he is well interested about his child education and does not want him to be stagnant.
Our reporter also learnt that none of the school classes has a single chair as the whole students of the school are sitting on a bare floor to study.
