AREWA AGENDA – A member of House of Representatives representing Albasu, Ajingi and Gaya federal constituency Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has paid registration fees for 90 students of public schools writing the 2021 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) in his constituency.

According to the statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday via the office of the Member’s Legislative Aide, he said the importance of education to societal development cannot be over-emphasised, hence the need for the sponsorship as Education is the only panacea for meaningful development.

Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya assured his readiness and willingness to partner with any organisation with a convincing idea about improving the standard of education in his constituency and the state at large.

He also added that he is so worried about the plight of final year secondary school students in his Constituency who not make it to the state government sponsorship and the gesture was borne out of a deep concern for the poor students who could not afford the fees for such essential examinations.

Hon Mahmud Gaya restated his commitment towards educational development which will have direct bearing on the lives of the people of his constituency and urged the students to be determined, focused and devote more time to academic pursuits necessary to excelling and being reliable leaders of tomorrow.
