Humanitarian Service Award: Nguru Inducted Into Ahmadu Bello’s Leadership Hall of Fame
AREWA AGENDA – The Sir Ahmadu Bello Youth Council (SABYC), has honoured the Administrative Assistant to the Honorable Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Engr. Ibrahim Yakubu Nguru for his humanitarian services to his people.
The induction was conferred at Tahir Guest Palace in Kano on Friday.
Led by the National Secretary of the Council, Amb. Bilal Tijjani Paki and other five delegates of the Council, the presentation of honor was made.
The National Secretary Amb. Bilal Tijjani Paki described the awardee as a passionate Northerner who has overtime engaged himself in various humanitarian services for the betterment of youths and the country.

Nguru who was described as mentor to the entire Council was urged to consider joining politics to help pilot the affairs of the people.
The National Director of Programs and spokesperson of the Council added that the honour was necessary in realization of his giant strides of engaging the Northern Nigerian youth in youth capacity building and supporting the youth to engage themselves in entrepreneurial ventures against chasing the shadows of white collar jobs.
In his response, Engr. Ibrahim Nguru expressed happiness over the honour and the recognition as it has given him for the zeal to continue supporting those in need.
While reiterating his commitment to partner with the council in making life better of the Northern Nigerian youths, he urged them to give their best by advocating for the peace and unity of Nigeria.
