NCBN, IMPR Partner on National Rebranding, Security Awareness
The Nigerian Customs Broadcast Network (NCBN) says with the support of organisations like Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), it will ‘fascinatingly’ rebrand Nigeria’s appalling global image, while also helping the country attract and grow foreign investments.
Director General of NCBN, Mr. Edirin Jerry Wesley, made this known after he led the Chief Executive Officer of IMPR, Mallam Yushau Shuaib, on a facility tour of their sprawling office building in Asokoro, Abuja.
IMPR is the Publishers of PRNigeria, Economic Confidential, Emergergency Digest and Politics Digest among other titles.
Wesley, while hosting Mr. Shuaib, and a delegation of his media organisation’s editorial board, highlighted the exceptional strides of IMPR’s products in the area of image branding and establishing corporate goodwill, for the security and paramilitary organisations, in the country.
He said: “We are proud to identify with the patriotic, selfless and peerless work you and your staff are doing, especially in terms of factual, consistent reliable, unbiased and crisis-management reportage for various sectors including finance and security agencies in the country.”
He assured that NCBN will partner the award-winning PR firm with a view to actualizing their cardinal goals and core missions.

“The main objective and mission of establishing NCBN, which was endorsed and approved by forward looking Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Colonel Hameed Ali (Rtd) is to help government attract investors for the country, create jobs and business opportunities, while also enhancing economic growth, through the promotion and development of local content,” added the NCBN boss.
Wesley, explained that most of the programmes routinely aired on their radio station, 106.7 FM, focus on anti-corruption campaign, activities in the nation’s financial sector, entertainment, together with the promotion of cultural and national integration, among others.
In his remark, Mr. Shuaib, expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception the NCBN management accorded him, and his delegation.

He lauded the Nigeria Customs Service for the Public-Private Partnership with a state-of-the-art broadcating edifice for the FM station, and the remarkable progress they have recorded towards operationalizing a TV station for the Nigerian Customs.

Mr. Shuaib, a multi-award winning PR guru, admonished the management and staff of NCBN to always avail the general public with timely, and useful information.

Highpoint of the visit by the IMPR delegation was the interview sessions the FM presenters had with both Mr. Shuaib, and Master Suleiman Shuaib, the young publisher of Teens’ Digest, an online news platform for younger minds.
