Maryam Abacha University, the Founder and a Giant Leap in the Comity of Nigerian Ivory Tower

AEEWA AGENDA – For any monument to stand firm, it requires a pillar, for any idea to thrive, it requires a visionary and for every dream to come alive and impact on the people, it requires a selfless humanitarian, that is why I choose to talk about the founder Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN), Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo who has extended the branches of this global ivory tower to include a palatial campus in the ancient city of Kano.
Professor Gwarzo is a young scholar from Kano with a 1st Degree, 2nd Degree-Masters and 3rd Degree-PhD all in the same field – French Language – from France.
He is the Founder and President of the globally acclaimed human driven University with high global affiliations to European, Asian, American and other global educational networks, Maryam Abacha American University of Niger, MAAUN, which is currently being expanded to Kano, Nigeria and across many countries world wide like Ghana, Togo, to mention a few.

He is an example of philanthropist who relentlessly support humanity without without public fanfare. He is passionate about good governance, youth inclusion into politics and sustainable development.
His Foundation, Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation is touching lives in both urban and rural communities targeting poor of the poorest communities and people. The provision of over 60 boreholes, creating awareness on health including COVID-19, Information Technology and hundreds of scholarships ( Undergraduate, Masters and PhDs) is to mention but few.
This simple and gentle humanitarian, a straight forward leader hails from Kano State, Gwarzo Local Government Area.
It is worthy to note that MAAUN Nigeria in Kano is starting very soon. An opportunity to enrol for better and affordable educational program with affiliations to many highly recognized universities and educational union globally.
