MACBAN Expressed Determination to End Insecurity, Hunger

In a promising development, the Mi-Yetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has announced its determination to address pressing issues within their communities. Led by the National President, Baba Othman Ngalzarman, MACBAN has pledged to combat the use of illicit drugs and the proliferation of weapons among pastoralists.

Speaking during an engagement with journalists in Paikoro local council of Niger State, Ngalzarman emphasized the importance of collective action in sensitizing youths against crime. Recognizing the efforts of security agencies, he urged them to uphold the rules of engagement while safeguarding citizens.

Highlighting concerns over recent incidents of violence, Ngalzarman called attention to the alarming rate of cow fatalities due to military and vigilante operations. He lamented the impact of banditry and cattle rustling, revealing staggering statistics of pastoralist casualties and cattle losses.

Amidst the ongoing food crisis, MACBAN expressed solidarity with those affected, unveiling plans to collaborate with stakeholders, including traders from major markets. By establishing a dedicated business arm, the association aims to complement government initiatives in mitigating the food crisis nationwide.

MACBAN’s proactive stance signals a promising step towards addressing critical challenges, fostering cooperation, and promoting peace and stability within Nigerian communities.
