CITAD Community ICT Centre Enrolls Over 170 Pupils in Abuja

The Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD), in collaboration with ACTION AID NG, has launched a groundbreaking ‘Computer Training Centre’ aimed at supporting ICT skills.

The initiative has already seen more than 175 students from L.E.A Primary School, Zhiko, registering through the convenient ‘Online Pupils Portal’.

Commending the remarkable achievement, Mohammed G. Pasepa, Chairman of PESEPA, shared his appreciation for the efforts of the Zhiko Community ICT Facilitator.

The success of the project, he stated, is due to the joint intervention by CITAD and ACTION AID NG, following a request from PESEPA Community Champions.

“Their shared objective is to drive ICT development and sustainability in these communities” Stated Paspa.

In addition to the training program, Chairman Pasepa highlighted that the center has opened its library doors to around 150 eager young readers, further enhancing educational opportunities for the pupils.

Mohammed Pasepa expressed his heartfelt gratitude to CITAD and ACTION AID NG for their timely and impactful intervention.

He expressed his confidence in the center’s proficient staff, who are set to effectively impart ICT knowledge to the participants, ensuring a high level of skill acquisition.
