Adamawa Guber Re-run: INEC Chairman’s Aide Working for Fintiri – Group

AREWA AGENDA – The Save Nigeria Movement (SNM) said it has uncovered a plot by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri to infiltrate the hierarchy of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), ahead of today’s Adamawa State governorship re-run election.
According to the group, Fintiri wants to infiltrate the INEC leadership so that they will favor him during the re-run poll, (presently ongoing) in some parts of the State.
Richard Oduma, Executive Director of SNM, disclosed this in a statement obtained by Politics Digest.

Oduma said that, “Intelligence at our disposal indicates that one Prof. Kuna who is a Special Adviser to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud, has made himself available for the hatchet job, through the prodding of the current Vice Chancellor of the Moddibbo Adama University, who is having the ambition to take over from Gov. Fintiri in 2027.
“This demonic and undemocratic act has to be truncated by well-meaning patriots. We hereby call on the INEC Chairman to save his name.
“Prof. Kuna cannot be used to shortchange the will of the people of Adamawa State, which they have demonstrated in the March 18 election by voting for Hajia Aisha Binani.
“Recalled that several organizations have raised alarm over the sinister efforts by Gov. Fintiri to truncate the re-run. This is quite unfortunate”.
