The Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Disease and Social Vices (YOSPIS) has honored Auwal Ahmad Dankode, a staff member of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO), for his remarkable integrity and bravery in returning $10,000.

YOSPIS Executive Director Zainab Nasir Ahmad stated that the award was given to Auwal in recognition of his exemplary conduct and as a representation of the positive contributions of Nigerian youth.

She highlighted that, in these challenging times, many young people might overlook the importance of integrity. Auwal, working at Malam Aminu International Airport, has demonstrated the best qualities of Nigerian youth.

Supported by the Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation, YOSPIS, a youth-led organization based in Kano, commended Auwal for his honest actions.

YOSPIS praised Auwal for returning the $10,000, roughly equivalent to 16 million Naira, and encouraged other Nigerian youths to follow his example of integrity.

Auwal Ahmad Dankode expressed that the recognition from YOSPIS has strengthened his resolve to uphold integrity not only in his profession but throughout Nigeria.

The award underscores that Nigerian youth are making significant positive impacts and celebrates outstanding individuals who serve as role models.
