YOSPIS To Have Links With Other International Organizations – Pharm Yakasai

AREWA AGENDA – The pioneer supporter of the Youth Society for the Prevention Of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS), Pharmacist Ahmad Ibrahim Yakasai has declared that the organization will be partnering with international reputable organizations in no distant time.
Yakasai who received “Distinguished Maiden Patron Award” is among the 25 awardees of the organization during her 25th anniversary made this known in Kano state in his keynote speech at the event in Grand Central Hotel.

He added that Every society that is desirous for progress needs to support the youth with Great innovations and ideas, insisting that the youth serve as the backbone of every successful Nation.
“Seeing me as part of this journey with the youth of those days now as they become a youth, is a great legacy to showcase”, he said.
He said one of his greatest achievements in life is how he saw the group of youth of those days(1997) grow to become role models and potential icons to the upcoming generations of youth.
“YOSPIS of those days have contributed immensely on curbing, Awareness creation and sensitization to the public on infectious diseases such as HIVAIDS.
“YOSPIS needs to revive all those selfless humanitarian services to the Communities and the state at large”.
In furtherance, Pharm. Yakasai enjoined YOSPIS members to start looking toward curbing other Non-communicable diseases as the world is suffering from various pandemics.
