YOSPIS Donates items to VVF, Orphanage Home in Kano

AREWA AGENDA – The Executive Director of Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS) has donated items of various items VVF, Orphanage and Torrey Home in Kano state.
The donation was made known by the organization’s Executive Director Zainab Nasir recently during the celebration of its 25th anniversary.
Zainab said that the items were distributed in respect of commemorating the Organization’s 25 years Anniversary in the state.
The organization which was founded with aim of preventing infectious diseases and other social vices in various communities in the late 90s has contributed immensely towards the developmental and selfless humanitarian service in Kano state.

This is part of YOSPIS interventions as we identified some of the areas that the government needs our support, in which we donate food items, buckets, Antiseptics detergents, brooms and buckets.
In addition, mosquito nets, slippers, biscuits, sweets and mats. This will enable them to ease their living.
Zainab added that YOSPIS is supported by Aminu Garba Magashi which pledges to keep on supporting the Government in various interventions to make a better and good conducive Environment for all the less privileged in the state
Zainab Nasir Ahmad calls on other Non-Government Organizations to support all those visited areas as many of their needs are not comprehended by the Governments due to some reasons.
“YOSPIS will keep on supporting all identified places with Awareness creation, sensitization on curbing all infectious diseases and other catastrophic pandemic in the state”, she stated.
