YAKMUT receives PDP, YPP decampees to APC in Jos, Says the Party is a Blessing to Nigeria
AREWA AGENDA – The Coordinator Contact and Mobilisation of All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Committee of Plateau state and former APC Plateau Central Senatorial district aspirant Hon Dr Al-hassan Yakmut received a mammoth crowd who defected to APC on Monday
Yakmut urged APC supporters in Chanso wards Mangu LGA Plateau state to embrace all newcomers and those rejoining the party to make the party strong and more formidable.
He stated this in his wards Chanso of Mangu LGA where the followers of the immediate third runner-up of PDP Mangu/Bokkos House of representatives aspirant Barr Umar Mantu followers and others from YPP join the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
“APC is a blessing to Nigeria, it has become the party of all, in APC everybody is equal, all will be treated equally and fairly,” he said.
“Today, we gathered here to celebrate these people, who decided to leave their various political parties for our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)” Yakmut said.

He further stated “These are all card-carrying members of the PDP, YPP and other political parties, who have decided to leave darkness for light, to leave regression for progress to leave fear and intimidation for honour and integrity.
“As you can see today, these people are today to delineate the unity and progress of the APC as the one and only party in Nigeria. The party that has the interest of the people, the party that wants to keep making Nigeria better and the party that loves Nigeria and Nigerians” Yakmut stated.
He added that “In the light of the above, I wish to urge all the good people of Chanso wards to join hands with other well-meaning Nigerians to massively vote for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has shown by his antecedents, track records and boundless capabilities that he will deliver good governance to Nigerians.
“May Allah make Asiwaju/Shettima’s choice one that immensely benefits all Nigerians regardless of where they live, their ethnicity, religion and political identities.”
Former Woman Leader of YPP, Fatima Usman on behalf of the decampees said their decision to decamp was informed by the achievement of the APC administration at both the state and federal levels.
The former Senatorial Aspirant, Chanso wards Councillor, APC wards executives, and hundreds of supporters from the wards were on hand to receive the decampees.
