Tinubu eulogises Tofa, others in Kano
National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has described the presidential candidate of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC) in the June 12, 1993 election, the late Bashir Tofa, as an exemplary leader, who epitomised simplicity till death.

Tinubu, while on a condolence visit to Tofa’s Gandu Albasa quarters residence in Kano, yesterday, described him as a dogged fighter and believer of democracy.
The APC stalwart stressed that Tofa did not only live a good life but left an example of humanity, love, and charity worthy of emulation.
