Suspended Anti Corruption Boss in Prison Custody, Pending Bail Condition
AREWA AGENDA – Former chairman of Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado has been taken to prison on Friday, pending meeting the bail Condition as prescribed by the Magistrate Court sitting at Nomanslad.
He pleaded not guilty to a one-count charge of providing false information, contrary to Section 149 of Administration of Criminal Justice Law, 2019.

Recall that, ruling on the bail application, Magistrate Aminu Gabari granted Mr Rimingado bail in the sum of N500,000 with two reliable sureties who shall be his biological father, paternal or maternal uncle, Chief Imam of either Sharada or Ja’en Juma’at Mosque and provide with the court their three years tax clearance.
Muhuyi will be remanded in prison custody until the time he met the bail conditions by the court.
