QAT Foundation Empowers 500 Nigerians On World Charity Day
…Philanthropic Gesture aims to Alleviate Poverty, Promote Kindness, says Tejuosho
Atleast, 500 Nigerians have benefitted from the the Queen Adenike Tejuosho’s (QAT) Foundation with a cash giveaway of N20,000 each.
The gesture aimed to commemorate the annual Sept. 5th World Charity Day to alleviate the suffering of less privileged and vulnerable members of society and to promote kindness amongst members of the society.
The foundation’s philanthropic gesture, which coincided with the global celebration of kindness and charity, brought succor to the beneficiaries, who were carefully selected from various walks of life.
Speaking at the Old Parade ground in Abuja on Thursday, the Founder of QAT Foundation, Hajiya Halimat Tejuosho Adenike, said that every act of charity counts no matter how little, urged members of the human society to prioritize humanity in their daily lives.
She said, “As we commemorate World Charity Day, let us remember the importance of generosity, kindness, and empathy towards others, and strive to make the world a better place for all. Together, we can create a more compassionate and inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

One of the beneficiaries, Agnes Simon who spoke with Journalists shortly after the event said that they are overwhelmed with emotion, praised QAT Foundation for its kindness and generosity. They also shared stories of how the empowerment would help them meet their basic needs, pay bills, and support their families.
Agnes avered that the gesture is in the right direction, called on other philanthropists to emulate Tejuosho’s initiative as panacea to encourage the less privilege in the society especially at such a time that Nigerians are passing through several challenges.
