Digital Economy: PR Nigeria, Foundation to Train Influencers on Social Media for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
AREWA AGENDA – As part of its commitment to enhance the capacity of youths to turn the prevailing COVID-19 crisis into opportunities in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the PR Nigeria Center for Strategic Communication in Collaboration with Habiba Jimeta Memorial Foundation, will be holding a one day workshop for Social Media users.
The workshop with the Theme; How to Turn the Prevailing COVID-19 Crisis Into Opportunities in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, the 14th of July, 2020 in Kano.
Speaking to Arewa Agenda, Manager of the PR Nigeria Kano Center, Adnan Mukhtar Adamu said the time is rife for young people to start looking inwards in order to liverage on the fast growing concept of digital economy.

“Apart from chatting and sharing photos, alot of young people are not aware that they can make effective use of the data for productive ventures. We are now taking it upon ourselves to show them the way.” He said.
The workshop got about 300 entries but only fourty were selected to attend.
Speaking on the selection process, Mr. Adnan stated that, “In order to comply with COVID-19 prevention and control protocol, slots are limited, therefore, entries were thoroughly screened and successful applicants contacted.”
The workshop will bring together seasoned Digital Practitioners, Entrepreneurs and Development experts as facilitators.
