Ododo Mourns Fourth Republic’s First CDS, Ibrahim Ogohi

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo has mourner the passing away of the 4th Republic’s First CDS, Ibrahim Ogohi.

Ododo who paid a condolence visit to the family of the late CDS described his passing away as a big loss to not just Kogi State, but entire Nigeria, at a time the country is grappling with multidimensional security challenges.

Governor Ododo noted that the experience and advise of the deceased would have been very vital at this trying time of the country.

He then prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, while also enjoining his family to see his death as the wish of Allah.

Admiral Ogohi, who hailed from Kogi State, was appointed Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff from 1999 to 2003 by the then President Olusegun Obasanjo.
