Why Ododo’s Government is Primed to Deliver Dividends of Democracy – Kogi AG
Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko has declared that the government of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is primed to deliver good governance and dividends of democracy to the good people of Kogi State.
She made the disclosure on Tuesday during an interactive session with journalists in Lokoja.
According to the Confluence state AG, Governor Ododo, remains focused and committed to fulfilling his promises to the state and the people.
She noted that the governor’s high sense of prudence, as well as probity in resource management are helpful assets in his governance of the state.

Responding to question concerning those who are yet to wake up from the defeat at the last governorship election in the state, the AG said Kogites had since moved on with the leadership of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, and urged the public to be aware of misleading reports churned out by the opposition parties and those acting in ignorance, to cause confusion and seek public sympathy.
She said “Kogites have confidence in a government that is able to deliver basic services, and that’s exactly what the governor is doing in the state”.
The AG urged the people of the state irrespective of political party affiliation, tribe or religion to join hands with the government of the day, and continue to give their unalloyed and unwavering supports needed to take the state to the pinnacle of development.
