Niger Lawmaker Buys APC Gubernatorial Form, Visits Governor for Expression of Interest
AREWA AGENDA – A Federal House of Assembly Lawmaker Hon Mohammed Umar Bago, representing Chachanga Federal Constituency of Niger State has bought the APC Gubernatorial Form and visited Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, expressing his interest on Thursday.
Bago made the presentation during a visit to Niger State Government lodge in Abuja ahead of the APC Gubernatorial primaries scheduled for next month.
Hon. Mohammed Bago in a message signed by his Media Aid, El-Hajj AlQasim Bn Bilaal on the purpose of the visit, said: “Even though Alh. Abubakar Sani Bello is like a brother, it would be wrong to assume or take things for granted, so I have to formally inform him and seek his blessings.”

Bago further said, “I have been an integral and consistent part of the progressives where I was first elected as Member of the House of Representatives under the platform of the legacy party, the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in 2011, All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015 and 2019 respectively”.
He reiterated that, “Over this period, I have garnered requisite, experience, contacts, opportunities and invaluable relationships to consolidate on the giant strides of the previous administrations in sustaining the gains and securing the future for “A New Niger” that will compete amongst other developing states in Nigeria and beyond”.
“My varied experience in private and public life has imbued me with requisite insights, experiences, and network of relationships adequate to provide a leadership that will galvanize our dear state to achieve her manifest destiny.” Bago added
Conclusively, Hon Bago commended his supporters, and assured Nigerlites of a responsive leadership that would address the myriad of challenges bedeviling the State.
He vowed to prioritize the provision of basic amenities, youths and women empowerment and security of lives and property among others if elected.
Bago is a third timer Lawmaker from Chanchaga Constituency and contested the Speakership in the 9th National Assembly, House of Representatives of Nigeria. He came second to Femi Gbajabiamila.
