The newly appointed Managing Director Kano Road and Traffic Agency, (KAROTA) Engineer Faisal Mahmud Kabir says as part of efforts to ensure effective service delivery, the agency would ensure adequate welfare of its personnel , aimed at boosting their morale for effective service delivery.
Faisal made the disclosure while receiving the leadership of the Kano NUJ Correspondents Chapel who paid him a courtesy call at his office.
He said since assumption in office many strategies Have been put in place to ensure effective service delivery.

The managing director explained that, it is an unfortunate situation where majority of the operational vehicles inherited were in bad shape, which affects daily operations of KAROTA, acknowledging that governor Abba Kabir has approved the overhaul of the agency
.He informed the team that, they will do anything possible within their power to make traffic control easier and sanitize roads across the state.
The KAROTA boss added that agency was planning to introduce new uniforms for its personnel.Earlier in his remark, the Chairman of the Kano NUJ correspondent Chapel Alhaji Aminu Garko reassured the agency of correspondents support inn the aspect of information dissemination to the public.
He stressed that, they would cooperate with KAROTA in ensuring effective service delivery to good people of the state
