Kwankwaso Distances Self From Kano NNPP’s Internal Wranglings
The national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on Tuesday told a team of journalists seeking clarification on the crisis rocking the party that he does not want to speak on it.
Kwankwaso, who was accosted by journalists on his way to his living room after an engagement, openly declared that “if there is anyone around here that is not part of delegation from Dambatta should feel free to exchange pleasantries and leave”.
Looking tensed, he turned around to journalists who are equally waiting to see him to follow suit, and not for a session.
When one of the journalist made it clear to him on why he should speak to us, Kwankwaso retorted
“I don’t want to talk please. Don’t drag me into what I am not supposed to be dragged into.”

The NNPP protestants alleged in their series of campaigns that “Kwankwaso has programme Abba Kabir Yusuf to fail by taking unpopular decisions onbehalf of the governor who happened to be his in law.
According to Daily Independent, “the power struggle between the national leader of the party, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on one hand, and the top NNPP echelon who are dissatisfied with the undue Interference of Kwankwaso in governance.”
