IGR: KIRS Adjusts Modalities For Revenue Generation
Kano State Internal Revenue Services (KIRS) has adjusted its structure in order to boost revenue generations across the state.
The Executive Chairman, Kano State Internal Revenue Services (KIRS), Alhaji Sani Abdulkadir Dambo made this known during assumption to duty of the Executive Director, Compliance and Enforcement, Malam Mahammad Abba Aliyu.

According to the statement issued by Bashir Habib Yahya, Director Public Enlightenment, the Chairman said the adjustment was approved by Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf in order to blocked any leakages in the state revenue generations operations.
He maintained that apart of stopping the revenue leakages ,the idea will also assist to improve the revenue services to be more transparent,
prudent and build confidence of revenue payers in the state.
Earlier, in remarks on his assumption of duty, the executive director, Compliance and Enforcement, Mahammad Aliyu registered his appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Kano Internal Revenue Services (KIRS) for choosing him among many to work together for development of the state.
Aliyu assured the chairman, management and the entire staff of KIRS that he will do everything possible to support to boost the organization to the highest level.
