Kano SSG, Baffa Bichi Returns From Overseas Medical Trip
The Secretary to the Kano state government (SSG),Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, has returned home from Saudi Arabia on Tuesday after a month long medical vacations.
Recall that on Dec.7 Governor Abba Yusuf approved the appointment of Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, as acting Secretary to the State Government, SSG, pending the return of Dr. Baffa Bichi from medical trip.
The action that fueled speculation of schism, and infighting in the 7 months old administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf in Kano.
But the governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf at a ceremony recently cleared air thus : ““Because, we have appointed the State Head of Service as acting SSG, does not mean we sacked Bichi, we cannot allowed the position to be vacant because of its sensitive nature”.
Yusuf had explained, “I personally overheard some persons speaking with full authority in the local Radio Programs that we have exchanged deadly blow’s between myself and the SSG”.
