Kano Guber: NNPP Denies Having Deal With Tinubu Ahead of S’Court Judgement
The Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Hashimu Dungurawa, has described as baseless rumors and reckless statement from the APC in the State that they have met with President Ahmad Bola Tinubu in an effort to maintain their Governorship Mandates.
The Chairman who was reacting to spread speculated reports by the APC that, “NNPP had met with President Tinubu trying to reconcile with him in order for him to ensure that their mandate is been sustained”, said their Party doesn’t need anybody to continue with their God Given Power.
Hashimu Dungurawa, reminded APC that in 2015 President Tinubu met with Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso because of his understanding that Kwankwaso have with it takes to ensure their victory and together they won Kano and Nigeria for Former President Muhammadu Buhari.
“That time in 2015, Kwankwaso ensure that all Political seats of Governor, his Deputy, 40 State House of Assembly, 27 House of Representatives and the Three Senators were won by APC in Kano, and the same thing repeated itself in 2023 with NNPP winning everything with only one minor Senate seat sleeping out to APC”.

Therefore, because of these facts and many more, President Tinubu who is gradually freeing himself from the shackles of Ganduje’s now believes that his alliance with Kwankwaso is much more needed than any other person.
Dungurawa notes that, what APC did in Kano in 2023 using Court was outright stealing of People’s mandates which by Will of God would be retain very soon, “because our mandate is sacrosanct”.
The NNPP Chairman, explained that Ganduje and his cohorts are so disturbed that President Tinubu is regrouping his allied ahead of 2027, and they now resort to Chief blackmailed against them using decamping and supreme Court Judgement as their back up.
“We are aware of so many negative moves by the Ganduje’s and his cohorts ahead of the Supreme Court Judgement, but they have forgotten that power belongs to God and weather they like it or not if he says Abba would continue to be the Governor of Kano State there is nothing they can do”.
“President Tinubu is so attracted to our People’s oriented Projects in Kano and he agreed to see Us to discourse matters of Governance, but because the APC in Kano are so aligned with negativity they are thinking we were there to secure our mandate”.H
e added, “everything is before the Court and it is only the Court that would decide otherwise, so why the fuss?, I think, all of Us the with the APC we should allow the Supreme Court do their Jobs without unnecessary rigamaroling”.
