Kano Ministry of Health Distribute Android Tablets to LG Coordinating Units
The Kano State commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, has distributed android tablets to the state and local governments Logistics Management Coordination Units sponsored by the National Products Supply Chain Management Program ( NPSCMP).
Dr. Tsanyawa charged the beneficiaries to be dedicated in the discharge of their duties so as to contribute to the improvement of healthcare delivery in the state.
He also urged them to take good care of the tablets for improved service delivery.
Dr. Tsanyawa also commended that State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Ganduje for his untiring support in improving the health system of the state.

During the event, the Director General, Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency, Pharmacist Hisham Imamudeen, was honoured with an award by Essential Drugs Officers, Kano State Forum in recognition of his outstanding performance in improving healthcare system in the state.
Earlier speaking, the awardee, who is also the Chairman Procurement and Supply Management- Technical Working Group, said the android tablets have been configured for data entry into the National Health Logistics Management Information System (NHLMIS) and Survey CTO for integrated monitoring and supportive supervisory visits (iMSSV) across public health programs.
He further stated that the gadgets were to be used to support the reporting of all health care commodities logistics data.
