The Executive Secretary Kano State Hospitals Management Board Dr Mansur Mudi Nagoda has reaffirmed the State government’s position on restoring all health facilities to it’s lost glory.
This was contained in a statement signed by the public relations officer of the Board Samira Suleiman which was sent to journalists in in Kano on Sunday.
The statement quoted the Executive Governor and Executive Secretary were totally displeased with the unfavorable condition they meet Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital a.k.a “Asibitin Nassarawa” adding that the restructuring of the facility would kick off with immediate effect.
Dr. Nagoda gave a strong warning to All hospitals staff that the era of complacency, mutual dialogue, carrot and stick approach has passed adding that the board will not condone any nasty excuse for negligence and inefficient discharge of duties and assuring no stick would be left untouched.

The Executive Secretary further explained that this new implementations would apply to all caders Drs, nurses, midwives,and attendants. He said they were so many accusations and allegations against hospital workers and found out that some are genuine.
He added that, the Hmb will not be at defensive all the time, however will be offensive and inflammatory to erred personels and defaulters. We are pleading that no one intercede nor interfare with civil service rules regarding same.Its time to act enough is enough.
- Meanwhile, the Executive Governor expressed total dismay and ordered an immediate rehabilitation of the facility adding that the government would not condone any form of lack of concern toward patients from any medical personnel.
At a visit to the facility the governor said “We are the government, this people who visit this facility expect a 100% service from us. So it is expected that we attend to the in all honesty.”
“We are going to do all things necessary to revive the hospital and we expect those incharge to do the needful,” added the governor.
