Kano state government has said it reduced the tertiary institution owned by the state school fees by 50 percent.
The state commissioner for higher education Dr Yusfu Kofar Mata said this in an interview with journalists on Monday.
Mr Kofar Mata said the state government took measures to reduce the burden parents are facing in this trial time.

The affected institutions include Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, (ADUST) Yusuf Maitama Sule University, (YUMSUK) and Aminu Kano Collage of Islamic and Legal Studies(AKSIL)
Others are Kano State Polytechnic, Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Audu Bako College of Agriculture, and Kano Collage of Remedial Science (KAS)
