Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has condoled with the family, friends and good people of Kano state over the death Malam Abdullahi Tijjani Dawakin Kudu.
In a press statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature, the governor espoused the deceased, whom he said lived a modest life as both an academic, Islamic scholar, activist and a politician.
Until his death,he was a loyal supporter of the ruling party in the state, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Kwankwasiya Movement.

“Abdullahi Tijjani lived a modest life both as an academic, Islamic scholar, activist and a politician.
“Indeed, Kano state and Dawakin Kudu community in particular will greatly miss the exit of late Abdullahi Tijjani.
“His burial rites will take place in early hours of Saturday 12th August, 2023 at his Dawakin Kudu residence in accordance with Islamic orientation.
“We pray that Allah in his infinite mercy repose his gentle soul in Jannatul Firdaus, Amin”, the statement read.
