Kano Censorship Board, Fire Service Partner on Safety of Viewing Centers
AREWA AGENDA – The Executive Secretary of Kano State Censorship Board Alhaji Isma’ila Naa’bba Affakallah has promised to work in collaboration with Kano State Fire Service to ensure safety of viewing center’s across the state.
According to a statement by the boards Public Relations Officer, Sharif Zahraddeen Usman Kofar Nassarawa, the Executive Secretary made the pledge while receiving the Director of Kano State Fire Service, Alh. Hassan Ahmed who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

Alhaji Affakallah described Kano State Fire Service as one of the organs of government that should facilitate synergy between it and other relevant parastatals for effective discharge of their responsibilities.
He directed all proprietors of soccer viewing center’s should have clearance from the state fire service before setting up their structures.
Earlier, the Executive Director Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Hassan Ahmed said he visited the board to demonstrate it’s importance in the daily affairs of the service in view of the fact that soccer view centers are rallying point for many leisure seekers.
He commended the Executive Secretary of the Censorship Board for carrying the state Fire Service along in the Board’s Major activities.
The Executive Director then appreciated the fire safety measures being taken by the board at various viewing centers..
