KAHADI, ACF Showcase Innovation, Creativity at 44th Kano International Trade fair
The duo of Kano HADAKA Development Initiative (KAHADI) and Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) have participated at the 44th Kano International Trade Fair.
Their participation focus was geared towards showcasing innovative development by young individuals, as well to create massive awareness on Drug abuse and fire safety.
This event was inspired by the remarkable success of the previous exhibition and conference organized by the Arewa Consultative Forum at the Dangote Business School, Bayero University Kano.
During the exhibition, HADAKA and ACF had hosted a diverse group of innovators and inventors, with winners given the prize of over four million naira support.
There were a lot of different innovations which impressed the attendees such as invention of a Home/Industrial Automation gadget that allows the control of electric appliances through gestures or voice command.
Also there was locally made in Kano, incubators, affordable solar system for homes, and solar kits locally made in Kano.
A young boy, Alamin Lawan, displayed his remarkable skills in house modeling, which really caught caught several people’s attention.

Another talented individual who also caught the attention of visitors was Abdulrahman Auwal. Abdulrahman. He invented a hybrid solar system, showcasing the potential for sustainable energy solutions in the northern region
Another worthy of note is an inspirational artist (Khaleeee Arts ) who stopped drawing people for almost four years because of the Islamic preaching he heard from Islamic Scholars, but was successfully turn into new model, such as signboard designer with over thirty employees during the event.
Also, U.S Kibiya wowed attendees with their hybrid refrigerator, agricultural commodities dryer and other innovative gadgets locally made in Kano.
There is also the duo of Aliyos and Jibril who created drones, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) Equipment and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) which was tested on the trade-fair ground successfully.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed individuals, such as Dr. Goni Faruk Umar, the Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum, Alh. Mahdi Sadiq and Professor Kamilu Sani Fage among others.
Their support and presence added prestige to the exhibition, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young talent and promoting innovation in our community.
Also present was the NDLEA Commandant, His Assistant and other NDLEA officials, as they all participated in physical demonstrations of how dangerous intoxicants of different types can be dangerous to human life, including the ways and procedures their rehabilitation centre works.
