2023: Kaduna Governorship Contest And Uba Sani Pass Marks Before The Polls

AREWA AGENDA – The current political epoch no doubt has ushered in of campaign season opens with tidal waves of frenetic hysterias.
Typical of politicians, one expects them have a lot of tricks, gimmicks and chicaneries up their sleeves to unfurl in their desirous bid to get political success at the poll
Thus, they go as far as engaging, enticingly and most times sell their political dreams and manifesto to the electorates so that they can get their thumbs at the poll.
Yes, in accordance to the INEC’s directives, the 2023 electioneering campaign window only recently opened, precisely on the 28th of last month. Even though selfish politicians with the predilections of deceit abound, one still need to cut some of them some slacks, as most of them want to do better for the electorates, even though having the willingness to do something and actually having the political will to do it are two proverbial different sides of a coin in governance, with only few true leaders giving credence to this
They do not for a single day cease to carry the people along, they consistently engage the people with a listening ear and constantly impacting positively in their lives.
Expectedly, the campaign bells rang in Kaduna state with an anticipated heated battle in the race to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, with political observers predicting a close contest.
But one man in the eye of the storm that defied these predictions; Senator Uba Sani, a senator representing Kaduna central at the National Assembly. In fact, you will be forgiven if liken him to the proverbial Lannister of Kaduna central constituency, someone who has earned the trust of his constituents; with superlatives of adornments, adulation, reverence and panegyrics serenading him.
The anticipated political heated duel for the governorship race of Kaduna state now seems to be in top gear, but the tougher the race becomes, the more Senator Uba Sani appears to be gathering more momentums, as he keeps surmounting every obstacle in the race.
It is incumbent upon every onlooker to decipher the fact that there is never an easy election irrespective of its status, thus, the primaries too was a tough nut to crack, tough, but it won’t be a thing of befuddlement if some political Juggernauts are standing in akimbo in utter dismay as to how this sui generis of a leader won the primaries in a consummate ease with a landslide.
I have no doubts that students of politics will in years to come study Senator Uba Sani’s brand of politics in our schools; how he made the primaries of his party, All Progressives Congress a landslide victory, but of equal, or perhaps greater significance is how he has won over the people of the state even before the elections.
Well, as difficult as it may seem, Senator Uba Sani has thrillingly been engaging the grassroots consistently and has been in touch with the downtrodden in the society. The empyrean senator is also an intellectual and an excellent speaker, he is so clear in his expression of ideas with impressive diction and control.

Near the top of his growing list of positives is youth empowerment and inclusion in governance, and Senator Uba Sani with abeaming smiles stands head above all. It is glaringly obvious in the composition of his team; Uba Sani Foundation (USF), Uba Sani Empowerment Foundation for the Underprivileged (USEFUL) and all his political appointees and advisers are rigorously selected vibrant, hardworking and dedicated youths, capable of wriggling us out of our challenges and working assiduously towards delivering democratic dividends to the constituency.
They form the avant-garde and power the wheels of his impactful change.
And as a way of showing appreciation to distinguished Senator Uba Sani for his youth empowerment and inclusiveness in governance, Men, women, and youth groups from every nook and cranny of the state passionately and exuberantly came together to form the Kaduna Response team, a ‘les gens possédés’ support group with the mandate of ensuring victory for Uba Sani come February 2023.
This team is so tremendously unprecedented that it can boldly be said to be the largest most organized and well-structured youth-centered support group the state has ever witnessed.
This team of condignly savvy enthusiasts of the Senator is engaging, working strategically and tirelessly hard to not only ensure victory at the polls but with an immense landslide.
It is pleasant but not surprising how the Uba Sani Foundation empowered over a thousand youths from his constituency, equipping them with basic skills like agribusiness, tailoring and IT skills, he graciously went ahead also to provide capital start-ups for these youths, a move that has gone a long way in reducing unemployment through both direct and indirect jobs for our teeming youths.
Several farmers within his constituency and beyond are all smiling, thanks in no small part to the Senator’s savoir-faire and sophistication.
He has and continues to empower thousands of farmers through loans and the provision of farming tools to boost agricultural production and self-reliance in just his constituency, but the state at large.
As a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he has facilitated projects worth billions of Naira in education and health care delivery to his constituency.
Furthermore, he also provided hundreds of jobs to his people all within three years. You can count on the fingers of one hand the leaders that have had such positive impact on their people since our return to democracy in 1999 as Senator Uba Sani has.
What is particularly fascinating about him is how in a short time, he successfully sponsored one of the highest numbers of bills, and it is not just the amount, but the success and influence these bills have on his constituents and the country at large
While his political opponents are busy dreaming of a miracle, he has successfully done his homework and it is a seemingly inevitable victory for him come February 2023. The people of Kaduna state know and are fully aware of the giant strides of the El-rufai administration and how pertinently important it is to have someone that does not only share in his vision, but capable of sustaining these cavalcade of developments.
They know firsthand of Senator Uba Sani’s resplendency, dexterity and adroitness, he is seemingly the desideratum of good governance.
They are fully aware of the choice before them; continuity and consolidation with Senator Uba Sani, a tried, trusted and tested leader, or deceit, lies, empty promises and retrogression. Well it is obvious the people of Kaduna state have made that choice early enough.
