Jigawa Youth Lauds Badaru’s Achievements, Refutes Allegations Against Minister
The Jigawa Youth Agenda has dismissed allegations leveled against the Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, by an unverified group claiming to represent APC youth in Jigawa State.
According to the organization, the so-called “APC Youth Group” lacks registration or recognition within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was allegedly formed to sow discord within the party.
In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Barrister Mujahid Assalafi, the Jigawa Youth Agenda reaffirmed its solidarity with Minister Badaru, praising his leadership and commitment to the development of Jigawa State and Nigeria.
The group extolled the Minister’s significant contributions to national development, particularly during his tenure as Governor of Jigawa State and in his current role as Defence Minister.

Additionally, the statement described him as a leader committed to strengthening APC unity and advancing the party’s principles both at state and national levels.
Furthermore, the statement rolled out achievements of Minister Badaru which spanned across key areas including strengthening national security, forging strategic partnerships, promoting youth empowerment and advancing unity within APC.
The statement further criticized the “APC Youth Group” for peddling falsehoods, urging party members and the public to ignore their claims. “This group is neither registered nor representative of APC youth in Jigawa. Their baseless allegations are merely a distraction from the party’s ideals and achievements,” the Jigawa Youth Agenda emphasized.
Therefore, Barrister Assalafi called on Nigerians to continue supporting Minister Badaru’s efforts, describing him as a leader whose dedication to national development, party principles, and the Tinubu administration is unparalleled.
“Minister Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has set an exemplary standard in public service, and we stand resolutely behind him as he works to secure a better future for Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
