Jigawa State Government to Sets up Committee to Address Workers’ Complaints
Jigawa State Government has set up a committee to looks into the complaints of the unverified workers in the state.

The State Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri, stated that any worker with valid reasons for not participating in the verification exercise and who feels adversely affected is directed to contact the committee at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service for verification.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer, Office of the Head of the Civil Service Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse, states that the exercise is not aimed at downsizing the workforce or witch-hunting any civil servants but rather at maintaining an up-to-date payroll system.
It further elaborates that the current administration has no intention of terminating any workers. Instead, it has hired more workers and taken significant steps to convert J-Teach and J-Health workers into permanent and pensionable positions, along with filling other vacancies in the service.
