KAROTA Intercepts 4,600 Bottles of Alcoholic Drinks
Kano State Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has intercepted a truck loaded with more than 4,600 bottles of alcoholic drinks in the state.
The spokesperson of the agency, Nabilusi Kofar-Naisa, in a statement noted that upon interception, the driver parked the car and ran away.

He said, “ The truck with registration number FGE 407 XB was apprehended along Ibrahim Taiwo Road around 4:00am by personnel of the agency.”
While thanking officials of the agency for their hard work, KAROTA managing director, Faisal Mahmud Kabir, promised to handover the sized beer to Hisbah Board upon completion of investigation for necessary action.
