Ilorin Anchor Seeks Govt, Philanthropists’ Help for Rainstorms Victims
AREWA AGENDA – Membersof the Ilorin Anchor Men and Women Initiative have called on government at all levels, philanthropists, social-cultural groups, and faith-based organisations to come to the aid of victims of a devastating rainstorms at some communities, located in Kwara State capital.
They said the humanitarian interventions by the government and other spirited individuals and groups will help to cushion the negative impacts of the storm on distraught victims.
PRNigeria, gathered that rainstorms which occurred between yesterday and today, wreaked havoc in some Ilorin Emirate communities.

In a statement issued by the Initiative’s Secretary, Barr. Abdulrahaman Olawale Solagberu, the association expressed sadness over the disaster and sympathize with all those who are affected by the disaster.
“The statement also calls on government at all levels, philanthropists, social-cultural groups, and faith-based organisations to come to the aid of victims to cushion the negative impacts of the storm.
“The association sympathizes with HRH, Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, HE, Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, Executive Governor, Kwara State, IEDPU, Ilorin Emirate council and the good people of Ilorin Emirate. Ilorin Anchor pray to Allah to ease our affairs, protect us and our property. Amin,” the rest of the statement reads.
