IEDPU mourns late Grand Kadi, Ambali
AREWA AGENDA – The death of a retired Grand Kadi of Kwara State, Honourable Justice Mutalub Ahmad Ambali,OFR,FISN,has been described as a rude shock and a great loss to Ilorin Emirate and humanity.
This assertion was the position of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) Signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Nurudeen Ibrahim on Thursday while reacting to the death of the foremost jurist and statesman.
The Union, in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Nurudeen Ibrahim, on behalf of the National President, Alhaji Aliyu Otta Uthman,fsi, described the late jurist as an outstanding personality, remarkable patriot and long standing member of the Union.

He added that Justice Ambali,who was a one-time Assistant National Secretary of the Union, was one of those who built the Union and worked assiduously towards earning the respect of all and sundry.
Alhaji Uthman recalled that Justice Ambali played several glowing roles in community development as he recalled that he was always willing to offer succeeding leaderships of the Union quality advice and support at critical time.
He added that the people of Ilorin Emirate and the global Muslim community would sorely missed Justice Ambali who he described as a passionate preacher, formidable author and exemplary leader.
The statement sympathised with the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji(Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari,CFR, and Khalifa Adabiyyin,Shaykh Abdulkadir Adisa Kamaldeen Al-Adabiy on the death of the great scholar.
The Union equally commiserated with the Grand Kadi of Kwara State, Justice Abdulateef Kamaldeen and the immediate family of the late jurist as it prayed Allah to grant all the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss and deceased a place in Aljanat fridaouz.
