IEDPU hails Usman Mustapha on 94th birthday
The Wali of Ilorin, Alhaji Shehu Usman Mustapha, has been described as one of the most distinguished and impactful surviving elder-statesmen Kwara State is left with.
This assertion was made by the National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, in a congratulatory message sent to the second republic Commissioner of Finance in Kwara State on the occasion of his 94th birthday anniversary, which coincides with today, Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Alhaji Abdulmalik said that the life of Alhaji Mustapha has been a blessing not only to the people of Ilorin Emirate but also to Nigerians and humanity at large considering his glowing achievements as a family man, community leader and public official.

He added that Alhaji Mustapha has a secure place in the history of Ilorin Emirate and particularly that of the Union, which he served as
its third National President. He had earlier served as one of the founding fathers of Ilorin Grammar School and in many other capacities since he started his public service career in the defunct Ilorin Native Authority in 1950.
Alhaji Abdulmalik, who is a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service, thanked Allah for his numerous blessings on the celebrant, particularly the favour of sound health and increasingly intimidating profiles of his progenies.
Alhaji Abdulmalik wished the former IEDPU President a very remarkable birthday and many more years of rewarding services to Allah and humanity.
