Gunmen Kill Police, Injure 3 Soldiers in Niger
AREWA AGENDA- Renewed violent attacks by gunmen have reportedly occurred in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State in which Galkogo and Zumba villages were said to have come under gunfire with one mobile police officer killed and 3 military men wounded.

Narrating the incident, some members of the affected communities said the attack occurred on Sunday morning and lasted for hours when over fifty suspected bandits on motorcycles stormed the area, killed a Mobile Police Officer, and wounded a teenage girl, three military men, and a civilian.
The attack was also said to have caught up with two ladies who survived gun shots on the stomach and laps, and were taken to Minna the state capital for treatment.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the attacks adding that number of casualties was yet to be ascertained as information about the incident was sketchy.
